does a severance pay out count toward social security annual earnings limit
I collect social security but am interested in working part time. I understand the earning limit of $17,000 while collecting ss. My question is - I will receive a $17000 severance pay out from my past employer in December. Does that amount count as my earnings limit of $17,000?
