CVS Pharmacy, Inc., one of the country's largest retailers, has been sued in Texas by a Sales Associate for overtime violations under the FLSA.  Mr. Zahid Khan, represented by Attorney Salar Ali Ahmed.  They seek to invite all other Sales Associates into the case to assert their rights collectively under the Fair Labor Standards Act.  CVS has denied liability and denied that Sales Associates are similarly situated such that they should be permitted to join the action.

This is yet another FLSA suit against CVS.  A Connecticut woman, Antoinette McLean, brought a similar suit against the parent, CVS Caremark Corporation earlier this year.  She seeks to invite other Assistant Store Managers into her suit.  She is represented by the Hayber Law Firm

CVS will certainly have its hands full defending these suits.  Interested persons can contact the Hayber Law Firm for information.
